The next day we visited Microsoft, where Chief of Staff (and also Lau Geckler’s wife) Aliona Geckler, gave us a general introduction to how business planning works in Microsoft, Russia. It was sometimes quite the challenge since Russia spans over nine different time zones, and the trip from Moscow to Vladivostok takes longer than from Moscow to New York – by plane!
The girls then went for a long walk around Kremlin and saw the beautiful park and the river Moscow that named the city and runs right through it. We also saw the big shopping center GYM, which is very exclusive, and experienced how Rus- sian women dresses up for shopping in high heels, their best outfit and make-up as if they were going out clubbing.
The boys explored the Red Square, and we all met up late afternoon and together we found a small dinner and went home to the hostel and had a cozy night with games and gossip.
