www.asb-bia.dk has been undergoing extensive refurbishment lately and this process is ongoing. Besides the overall layout and colours, there has been focus on the strategy of the page. This includes what’s the purpose? Who are the intended visitors? What content are relevant? In what direction should the development of the page follow? This has lead to the decision of keeping social events (e.g. parties) off the page and let Facebook or other social media cater those needs. Regarding academic-related news of practical nature (e.g. new exam rules) will be posted on Campusnet. The content of the page will rather focus on being the outward channel towards future students and companies interested in tapping into the potential from this particular Master Programme.
I’ll just briefly mention some of the new initiatives on this page:
- Google Analytics tracking code has been embedded in the code, so we now have the ability to optimize the page and learn more about who our visitors are and how they behave on the site.
- The Board information has been updated to match the present staff. Pictures will be included in the near future.
- New pictures for the header has been acquired and they are being cycled randomly for visitors. Thus, making the website more “alive” with the header constantly changing. Right now there is 8 pictures and more to come, so most visitors will most likely experience new header for at least one page when visiting (average pages pr. visit = 2.83).
This was all for now. I hope you’ll enjoy your visit on this page and please let me know if you have any comments to content, layout or ideas to improvements.
